Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on CRM Migration Specialist to lead a full migration from Ontraport into GoHighLevel (GHL)—including memberships, workflows, automations, funnels, pages, and data. Your core strength should be Ontraport, with solid working knowledge of GHL (you’ll also have support from our internal GHL team). You’ll rebuild automations and assets with a keen eye for UX and brand consistency, migrate a WordPress site into GHL, and ensure a clean, well-documented handover. This role suits someone who learns new tools quickly, works independently, collaborates smoothly, and enjoys shipping reliable systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Migration Planning & Mapping: Audit current Ontraport setup (objects, tags, campaigns, rules, forms, pages, memberships) and produce a migration plan, data map, and cutover strategy.
• Data & Asset Migration: Export/transform/import contacts, tags, custom fields, sequences, and membership data; rebuild forms, pages, funnels, calendars, and checkout flows in GHL.
• Automations & Workflows: Recreate/optimize automations, pipelines, triggers, SMS/email sequences, and webhooks in GHL; set up Calendly/GHL calendar flows as needed.
• Memberships & Access: Configure GHL Memberships (products, offers, lessons, access rules), migrating from Ontraport membership logic with parity and improvements.
• Web & Pages: Rebuild key WordPress pages/landing pages in GHL (or bridge as needed), maintain URL strategy/301s, and ensure brand-aligned UI with solid conversion practice.
• Integrations & Deliverability: Configure DNS, domains, tracking, and email deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC); set up Zapier (or equivalent) automations across tools.
• Testing & Cutover: QA end-to-end journeys (opt-in → nurture → conversion → membership access), run sandbox tests, fix edge cases, and execute go-live with rollback plan.
• Documentation & Handover: Produce clear SOPs, architecture diagrams, and change logs; train internal stakeholders and support a short hypercare period post-launch.
• Project Workflow: Collaborate with the GHL team, manage tasks in Asana/Trello, communicate risks/ETAs, and keep stakeholders updated.

Requirements

• Web/Design ability to build conversion-focused pages in GHL (landing pages, funnels); comfortable adapting WordPress layouts to GHL.
• Communication & Ownership: Excellent written communication, requirement gathering, documentation; works independently and within a team; proactive problem-solver.
• Quality & Testing: Methodical QA mindset with checklists, acceptance criteria, and rollback plans.
• Ontraport expert (campaigns, rules, memberships, forms, ecommerce, data model).
• Proficiency in GoHighLevel (workflows, pipelines, funnels, memberships, calendars, domains).
• Proven end-to-end CRM migration experience (planning → execution → QA → cutover).
• Integrations & Automation: Strong Zapier skills (or equivalent), webhooks, API basics, DNS/email deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
• Data Handling: CSV/field mapping, de-duplication, segmentation, and safe data practices.
• Tool Agility: Able to pick up platforms fast (Calendly, Asana, Trello, etc.).
