Financial Controller

At Webfleet, we are looking for a Financial Controller who thrives at the intersection of finance and business. In this role, you will be a true business partner—owning the financial close, audit, reporting, and internal controls while providing actionable insights to management and our shareholder. Your work will go beyond numbers: you will translate financial data into business intelligence that drives decisions and strategy.

Your Challenge

• Lead and oversee the monthly and annual financial close process
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS (and Dutch GAAP where applicable)
• Act as the main liaison with external auditors and coordinate audits end to end
• Strengthen and develop internal controls to ensure best-in-class financial and risk management
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, linking operational metrics to key performance indicators
• Support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis, identifying trends and recommending actions
• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (mandatory)
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, ideally starting in audit and expanding into controlling/finance roles
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; Dutch GAAP is an advantage
• Hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented with a passion for accurate reporting
• Business-minded, able to convert financial insights into strategy
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
