Job Description

Junior Accountant
Job Purpose:

The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end processes.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Reconciliations
IDT transaction maintenance
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including suppliers and HMRC
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries
Perform other administrative and finance-related duties as required

Skills, Abilities & Experience:

Minimum Knowledge and Experience required for the position:

Undertaking ACCA/AAT studies and willingness for CPD.
US GAAP Knowledge
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Experience with ERP systems like Netsuite, SAP
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Open minded.
Process improvement focused
Ability to interact with all levels in the organisation.
