Sr. Engineering Data Scientist

The Role:

Are you ready to join a team involved with designing exciting products for a great company? Logitech is now looking for a Senior Engineering Data Scientist to join the team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. During your programing period, you will:

• Lead and execute innovation projects.
• DoE (Design of Experiment) planning, data analysis, system modeling, to support technical studies, project development, and potential applications on products.
• Introduce project concept and present project results.
• Strengthen Logitech CMF+ME engineering science.

• Conduct innovation ideas for Logitech, lead and/or support CMF technology projects to enable products and our customer diversity, inclusivity, sustainability and customization
• Partner with multi-function groups, analysis and synthesis with system modeling logical thinking.

Key Qualifications:

• Technical Competence

• Data collection and analysis via system modeling logical thinking. Synthesize and present data and ideas logically.
• Familiar with data science and experiences in physics, machine learning, machine vision…
• With experience of AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) on image processing, system building, or algorithm writing.
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing).
• Good communication skills as the data and scientific consultant. 
• Attentive to details and flexible in a fast-moving environment.
• Being able to work efficiently in a global and multi-cultural team.
• Able to work with overseas suppliers.
• Master’s degree, equivalent or above
• Training in one of the following specialties or related fields: physics, math, computer science, statistics
