Description
Job Overview:
The Sales & Use Tax Compliance Analyst position requires a commitment to meet state-imposed deadlines which may at times require over-time. Must be able to clearly communicate key tax terms and concepts in a way people outside the tax department can understand.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare indirect tax compliance including sales and use, excise, business, and other regulatory returns.
- Prepare sales & use tax data and supporting workpapers.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team dynamic environment.
- Continue development of indirect tax procedures in conjunction with the indirect tax team.
- Ability to apply emerging data analytic tools to existing processes to improve performance (i.e.-use of BOTS, workflows & other technology).
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Data Analytics or equivalent experience
- 3 years accounting/tax experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience filing Sales & Use Tax returns for multiple states
- Experience using Vertex O or Q or similar tax software
- Experience with Vertex Returns or similar tax software
Preferred:
- Experience working with large volumes of data including the use of pivot tables and Vlookups.

Salary:
Pay commensurate with experience. $69,750 - $102,200.
