General Summary
The Vice President of Revenue will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for owning the entire customer journey, from first touch through long-term relationship management. This leadership role will have the opportunity to unify Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Customer Support, and our Coach Match program into one cohesive, high-performing revenue engine. We’re looking for a bold, strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments and has a proven track record of scaling growth across acquisition, expansion, and retention. This is your opportunity to build and inspire world-class teams, drive ambitious revenue outcomes, and create an exceptional customer experience that empowers coaches, athletes, and partners around the globe.

Core Functions:

  • Set the vision and drive growth: Build and execute the revenue strategy to accelerate new customer acquisition, expand existing relationships, and maximize retention across our B2B and B2B2C SaaS businesses. Identify and pursue new market opportunities, segments, and growth initiatives, setting the course for future expansion.
  • Lead world-class teams: Inspire, mentor, and scale high-performing Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Coach Match teams, creating alignment and accountability across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Own the numbers: Forecast accurately, establish KPIs, and track performance against goals — while knowing when to roll up your sleeves to refine sales processes, optimize onboarding, or improve customer support workflows.
  • Elevate the customer journey: Oversee the full lifecycle from initial sale through implementation, onboarding, adoption, engagement, and renewal — ensuring every interaction creates value for coaches, athletes, and partners.
  • Expand relationships: Partner with Account Management to unlock upsell and cross-sell opportunities, deepen retention, and grow lifetime value.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver market insights, shape GTM strategy, and ensure product-market fit.
  • Innovate and scale: Leverage tools, data, and AI-powered solutions to increase efficiency, improve team performance, and scale revenue operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven revenue leader with 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B and/or B2B2C SaaS, with direct ownership of Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Customer Support.
  • Strategic operator who can design high-level growth strategies and dig into the details of sales processes, customer onboarding, and support systems when needed.
  • Builder of teams and culture, with a track record of inspiring, coaching, and scaling high-performing organizations.
  • Data-driven decision-maker, fluent in forecasting, KPIs, and revenue analytics, with experience leveraging CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), customer success platforms (like Gainsight), and AI-powered GTM tools.
  • Leader with deep customer empathy, passionate about creating an exceptional experience across acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills — someone who can rally cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders around bold growth goals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA strongly preferred).
