Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving and projects. Manages nonstock, specials, bill-only and perpetual orders. Ensures accurate and timely receipt of materials within the facility. Receives inbound freight with precision, assures the assigned time for daily priorities is met, and communicates and resolves discrepancies. Receives and stages all inbound materials accurately and efficiently. Effectively utilizes the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to document all receiving activity including Purchase Order (PO) Stock items, PO Nonstock items, and Non-PO items. Performs advance duties in the ERP system as required. Transports items to end users and documents transactions in the ERP system. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of patient information. This position may require weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock anesthesia and PACU
- Unload truck deliveries for the SIMS area
- Returns and all other assignments as outlined by the supervisor
Must have attention to detail and the willingness to take on any and all additional assignments not necessarily covered here.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Requires 1 year of relevant experience.
- Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
- May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.
- Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
- Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.
