The Electrical Assembler will work with team members on the assembly of 12 VDC control systems and will be expected to play a key role in on-site activities. Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling various control components, harnesses, programming devices and interfacing our system to specific heavy truck systems.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

Responsibilites

What You'Ll Be Doing:

  • Work from schematics and job instructions
  • Constructs Electrical Control Panels and Electrical Harnesses
  • Pre-assembly and finish wiring of control systems
  • Installs electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices
  • Ensures accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
  • Test completed equipment for proper performance.
  • Use of specific wire cutting/stripping/crimping equipment
  • Adaptability to changing tasks due to continuous improvements and updates
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Other assigned work as required

Qualifications

What You'Ll Need For Success:

  •  Education: High school diploma, GED.
  • 1 year’s experience with automotive electrical preferred.
  •  Knowledge of basic 12 VDC Electrical systems, tools, and crimping techniques.
  •  A strong background in Automotive 12V systems is preferred.
  •  LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
  •  Able to assemble Electrical Components from drawings and work instructions.
  •  Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  •  Able to work well under pressure.
  •  Strong attention to detail.
  •  Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
  •  Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
