About Your Role:
As the Procurement Coordinator, you will provide essential support to our local & National team, ensuring that production and project material requirements are met with precision and efficiency. This includes managing the procurement process for raw materials, components, equipment, and services across our Manufacturing & Maintenance sites to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material supply, track orders, chase up deliveries, and maintain clear communication on any changes or variances.
- Record and report non-conformance, quality issues, and delivery problems.
- Expedite supplier orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Update purchasing systems with accurate information such as ETA, pricing, and lead times.
- Support the procurement process from requisition to purchase order.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Maintain factual communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
We are on the search for someone with:
- Experience in procurement or a related field (preferably in manufacturing).
- A dynamic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to take on new tasks
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA systems (advantageous).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain effective relationships at all levels.
- Prior experience in safety-critical industries such as rail, automotive, defence, or avionics (preferred).
