Job Title: Support Engineering Manager – Technical Publications

Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.
What You’Ll Be Doing:
You will be the Subject Matter Expert on all aspects production of:
- Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
- Technical Descriptions, Operating Information and Illustrations
- In-service Technical Support Technical Publications
- Also, provide leadership and management as well as mentor, inspire and motivate others
- Responsible for the timely delivery of the following Interactive Electronic Technical Publications, Technical Descriptions Operating Information, Illustrations deliverables for all Classes of Submarines.
- Expert understanding and ability to develop and produce IETP, Technical Descriptions, Operating Information, Illustrations and In-service Technical Support, delivering the associated outputs appropriately
Your Skills And Experiences:
- Relevant BSc Degree qualified or equivalent level of work experience
- Previous experience in a team leader / management role
- Subject Matter Expert for the full range of Technical Publications disciplines
- Ability to produce the full range of Technical Publications deliverables to latest standards and practices
- Define the requirements for the administrative Technical Publications functions to maintain records within the Technical Publications department and facilitate Technical Publications activities

The Support Engineering Documentation Team:
In this role, you will be supporting in the management of IETP across 4 key teams over the Astute and Dreadnought programmes and leading the 4 Team Lead SMEs. You will regularly be engaging with both key Internal and External Stakeholders and the Customer. You will be supporting a critical area of the business, as well as providing, leadership, mentoring, inspiration and motivating your team members.
