We’re looking for a Contracts Counsel to join our in-house legal team and support a Senior Contracts Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated customer and vendor agreements for our global cybersecurity business. In this role, you’ll partner closely with teams across Sales, Product, Marketing, HR, Support, and Data Center Operations to help structure deals and keep our contracting processes efficient, compliant, and business-friendly.
This is a high-visibility position where you’ll make a direct impact on the company’s growth and success. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience working on technology and SaaS contracts, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to develop deep expertise in commercial contracting for a global cloud business.
What You'Ll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS and cloud agreements, reseller/distributor/OEM agreements, software licenses, intellectual property partnerships, data center agreements, and professional services agreements.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure agreements are clear, accurate, and aligned with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Translate legal concepts into practical advice for business partners, including guidance on contract structures, approval processes, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update contract templates and playbooks; help improve contract management processes.
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate policies, procedures, and training on contracting best practices.
- Review non-standard agreements to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Who We'Re Looking For
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in commercial contracting, with strong exposure to SaaS and cloud agreements.
- Experience at a law firm and/or as in-house counsel at a technology/software/cloud company (global experience a plus).
- Solid knowledge of contract law and key issues in licensing, distribution, and intellectual property.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements with confidence and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
- Law degree from an accredited university and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
