FW Developer for Embedded systems Engineer

In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.

We are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software and hardware solutions for autopilot systems, airborne electronics, and ground support systems used in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) development. The role focuses on enhancing UAV control, navigation, and communication capabilities while ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop real-time systems that meet operational and performance requirements for UAV applications.

Tasks To Be Performed:

• Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for UAV autopilot, airborne, and ground systems.
• Integrate and debug sensors, actuators, communication devices, and other embedded hardware.
• Conduct software simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and field testing for UAV systems.
• Troubleshoot communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP/IP) and hardware interactions.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, design reports, test plans, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, software, and aerospace engineers, to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
• Support field operations, flight tests, and troubleshooting of UAV systems.
