Machine Learning Researcher (PhD Student / Postdoc)

As part of our research team, you’ll work closely with leading scientists and engineers to publish high-impact research, push the boundaries of generative AI, and translate cutting-edge techniques into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research in computer vision, image/video generation, and multimodal architectures.
• Design, train, and optimize large-scale diffusion, transformer, and generative models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research into production.
• Contribute to academic publications, patents, and open-source projects.
• Stay ahead of emerging research in foundational models, diffusion techniques, and multimodal learning.

Required Qualifications

• Currently a PhD student, Postdoc, or recent PhD graduate in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Proven experience in computer vision, generative models, and video/image architectures.
• Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, AAAI, etc.).
• Hands-on expertise with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Familiarity with large-scale training, distributed computing, and GPU acceleration.
• Strong coding skills in Python and experience with model optimization.

Preferred Background

• Previous or current affiliation with leading AI research labs/teams in China such as Tencent, Alibaba DAMO Academy, ByteDance AI Lab, Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab, Baidu Research, or similar.
• Experience in multimodal learning (vision + language) or diffusion-based architectures.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects.
