The Impact you will have in this role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Lead Business Management Associate to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable business strategies and operational improvements for the Enterprise Data and Corporate Technology domain. You will demonstrate analytical techniques to uncover insights, develop data-driven solutions, enable self-service efficiencies through reporting and dashboard, and communicate your findings to leadership to inform strategic business decision-making.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in analytics engineering, exceptional data storytelling, and a proactive approach to solving complex business problems. This position is perfect for an analytical self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make a significant impact on our business through data-driven excellence.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead in-depth analysis of IT business performance and financial performance to provide insights for leadership
- Perform timely ad hoc analyses to address specific urgent business questions and to conduct root cause analyses to help improve IT business processes
- Present data mining and analysis findings to leadership through simplified metrics-driven stories and make data-based recommendations to improve IT business processes
- Develop, implement, and maintain analytics framework of departmental data to build simple frameworks for analysis and self-service dashboards
- Collaborate with various departments, such as Finance, Human Resources, Vendor Management, Procurement Services, and IT teams, to drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency through data analysis.
- Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs for the business unit, using data to evaluate progress and identify areas for optimization and risks
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success:
- Ability to communicate as a storyteller with data
- Detail oriented and organize
- Demonstrated expertise in managing analytical / business intelligence framework
- Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
- Ability to structure and manipulate large, complex datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, demonstrating strong adaptability, organization, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with data governance and management principles is a plus
- Proficiency with analytical programming languages, such as SQL, Python, VBA, and DAX is a plus
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
