About The Role

CIPFA is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing Team. Public finance is the backbone of every hospital, council, and public service - and you’ll be at the centre of how that story is told. From creating engaging campaigns to launching new digital resources, you’ll play a key role in raising awareness, building trust, and showing the value of good governance in an age where every penny counts.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping CIPFA evolve how it goes to market, shifting from traditional product-led marketing to a more dynamic, issues-based approach that reflects what our key sectors and customers care about most. 

• You’ll be working with purpose — not just pushing products.
• You’ll help position CIPFA as the go-to voice for financial accountability in the public sector.
• You’ll work with a team who are passionate about ethics, progress, and social good.
• You'll gain insight into high-level public decision-making and how finance shapes the real world. About You

This role would be suitable for someone who is proactive and organised with experience in a similar professional body organisation.

Experience Of:

• B2B email marketing campaign management (Essential)
• UTM tracking and campaign analytics (Essential)
• A/B and multivariate split testing (Essential)
• Email marketing platforms such as Dotdigital (Desirable)
• CRM systems and lead nurturing campaigns (Essential)
• Working closely with sales or business development teams (Essential)
• Professional/financial services marketing (Desirable)
