The Microsoft 365 Copilot team is seeking a dynamic Sr. Product Marketing Manager - AI at Work Evangelist.  In this high-impact role, you will drive thought leadership on how AI is transforming the workplace by building confidence and showcasing business impact with Copilot and Agents. You will lead key initiatives that include developing best practices and top prompts for common workflows, identifying and validating competitive differentiators, and spearheading benchmarking efforts to showcase the value of our AI solutions.

You will work cross-functionally to evangelize AI-powered productivity both within Microsoft and to external audiences. This role involves driving both inbound efforts (shaping product development and driving differentiated value) and outbound efforts (developing scalable programming, compete content, community engagement opportunities, and sales enablement) for Copilot and Agents. This is a highly collaborative role that partners across a diverse set of stakeholders including senior leadership, marketing, product and engineering, design/UX, sales, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end programming to curate and showcase master prompt libraries and supporting assets for internal and external use; including expansion of new AI capabilities Lead peer review and best practice sharing of best-in-class prompt creation and development and enable feedback loops for product improvements.
  • Define differentiators and competitive features to influence product roadmap and Go-to-Market strategy Drive Copilot and Agents adoption by showcasing real-world value and differentiators across external audiences including customers, press, analysts, and influencers.
  • Lead third-party benchmarking initiatives and validation and translate findings into compete guidance, sales readiness, and product recommendations.
  • Develop and drive social plans including editorial calendar planning, leadership promotion, and influencer engagement.
  • Create and establish repeatable templates to and processes for launch playbooks, demos, and enablement kits.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor innovations to identify gaps and propose new use cases or features

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience creating and executing successful inbound and outbound marketing strategies and plans for complex and innovative products.
  • Experience in the AI space either directly or indirectly.
  • Product marketing experience in the technology industry, preferably in cloud, software, or SaaS products and services and familiar with AI Experience creating and executing successful inbound and outbound marketing strategies and plans for complex and innovative products.
 Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering scalable enablement programs.
  • Experience with programmatic prompt testing, evaluation rubrics, and publication workflows.
  • Experience designing and running benchmarking or competitive evaluations with ability to turn results into actionable recommendations for product and GTM efforts
  • Analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and actions.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across teams, while working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to have a deep understanding of customer pain points and needs, and translate into key value propositions and compelling narratives.
  • Experience successfully influencing engineering product roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
