We're looking for an experienced sales leader to continue our growth plans for New Zealand.

Level Group New Zealand is a national trade network created to help independent plumbing and electrical businesses thrive by providing the support they need to succeed. Over a short period of time we have become Australia and New Zealand's fastest growing trade network, with over 70 Members located throughout Australasia and a group revenue of $240m.

We are seeking an experienced, tactical and savvy sales professional to continue our growth plans for New Zealand. As Head of New Membership you will be responsible for market analysis, lead generation and onboarding of new Members into the Level New Zealand network, as well as developing strong and lasting relationships with existing members.

You will have a deep understanding for trades business and or experience in complex B2B selling in industries such as insurance and financial services.

You will be joining a well established high performing trans-tasman team that's motivated, professional and highly engaged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify membership opportunities and collaborate with the AUS / NZ Level team on growth plans.
  • Lead Generation: Identify, prospect, and engage with trade business owners through various channels, including networking, cold calling, events, and referrals.
  • Relationship Building: Building genuine relationships with trade business owners in line with Levels values and nurture through company CRM.
  • Sales: Manage & improve the end-to-end sales process from prospecting, initial inquiry, to agreement signing.
  • Onboarding: Work with the General Manager and Business Support Managers to onboard Members, ensuring engagement and Members success 
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Members, support and champion their success.
  • Level Representation: Represent Level at industry events, networking opportunities & Level Events
  • Collaboration: A team player, build enduring internal relationships and work across-functions with trans-tasman Brand, Operations, Accounts and Leadership teams

Requirements

  • Proven track record in relationship building, or B2B sales. 
  • Strong understanding and first hand experience of trades businesses and or the wider trade industry including merchants and suppliers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, professional, genuine and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed and internationally from time to time.
