About The Role:
We're hiring a Front-End Developer to deliver excellence within our Technology team. If you are passionate about crafting visually appealing, high-performance user interfaces, this role is your stage. This role will be responsible for developing and driving the technical structure, supporting feature rich business solutions in responsive design and mobile apps. Join us in maintaining the progressive enhancement mindset required to exceed performance standards for functionality.
Requirements
What does a day in the life look like?
- Enhance and develop Ticketek’s front end interfaces across web and app ensuring that they are responsive, function well and are visually appealing under a wide range of user display scenarios (and that follow a progressive enhancement mindset).
- Produce responsive custom content, code and scripts to provide top notch digital commerce and mobile solutions for our stakeholders
- Lead the agile implementation of front-end enhancements and updates based on recommendations from marketing, data and analytics
- Test front end site enhancements, bug fixes and functional developments. Work collaboratively with the Senior FE Developer to give feedback and be the first line of response for resolving production issues.
- Lead the front-end implementation and ongoing delivery of a new cross channel martech platform to personalise content across our site/app.
- Assist on and manage deployment of product release lifecycle
- Provide technical support and guidance to the web team to ensure that content production is aligned with our technical and business requirements.
- Assess, design, and develop front end solutions in alignment with WCAG 2.0.
About You
Essential experience & skills
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JSON, XML, XSLT
- Experience with Javascript libraries and frameworks libraries such JQuery, KnockOut.js, Angular.js and React
- Workflow automation tools exposure e.g. Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, npm
- Refined User Interface design skills
- Solid experience with responsive web design and frameworks e.g. Bootstrap
- An understanding of performance monitoring and optimisation considerations, e.g. minification, caching, JavaScript performance
- Knowledge of Git source control and methodologies
- Google Analytics, Google Analytics Premium; or Adobe Analytics set-up, tagging, and data architecture experience
- Knowledge of consuming web services and be familiar with AJAX/ CORS.
- Knowledge of Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS or LESS
- A deep understanding of configuration, performance issues and security issues related to web applications. (e.g. XSS, CSRF, session theft)
Desired Experience And Skills:
- A good grasp of RESTful APIs
- Experience working with the Microsoft Development ecosystem, e.g. C#, .Net
- Designing and Building websites using Wordpress
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence, or similar workflow process tools
- CI/CD, cloud, CDN and hosting infrastructure. (E.g. Amazon AWS knowledge) skills
