Meta is seeking a motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented candidate to join our Law Enforcement Incident Response Team. The team is in search of someone with experience working effectively with others, adapting to changing circumstances, and exercising sound judgment in complex or sensitive situations.

$88,000/year to $130,000/year + benefits

- Evaluate threat, risk, and user privacy scenarios in time critical emergency escalations
- Review and assess, high volumes of, inbound emergency escalations and make decisions based on analysis of a variety of complex factors whilst adhering to applicable laws, terms of service and internal policies
- Create and articulate responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams
- Availability to work weekends on a rotational basis or on a regular schedule of either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, as required
- This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and words, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury and suicide content which may be considered offensive or disturbing
- 3+ years of relevant experience in investigative or analytical roles
- Experience working in an environment with constantly changing expectations with minimal direction
- Experience analyzing data to assess threat and risk to make effective decisions with limited guidance
- Communication skills and experience adapting communication style to suit different stakeholders like cross-functional teams and law enforcement
- Experience with social media, analytical tools and online research
- Experience in handling emergency response escalations
- Experience with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement
