Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for one or more ancillary applications that may integrate with Epic applications. This position is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, which means being able to change direction quickly, multitask, and demonstrate a passion and eagerness to learn new technologies. The ancillary analyst will collaborate with and provide tier-two support to their team and/or counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned applications. Effectively manages competing and changing priorities. Under minimal supervision, serves as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned. Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems. Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.
Performs application software build, configuration, and maintenance. Assists with application software troubleshooting and information gathering. Provides end user support for software users. Escalates software application issues as appropriate. Designs workflow diagrams to support both technical and end user processes. Documents and adheres to internal procedures and processes for maintaining data and system integrity. Assists with designing workflow diagrams to support both technical and end user processes. Manages projects and initiatives to support clinical, revenue cycle, and administrative operations. Trains staff on software use, including Epic integration workflows. Offers and implements workflow or technical related enhancement ideas. Functions effectively as a team player while meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations. Performs functional application testing according to instructions and test plan. Tests and supports software, workflows, and any relevant system interfaces. Perform all other duties as assigned.

This team currently supports Vocera, Jeron, Stryker, Muse, Harmony, HEYEX, Omnicell, QGenda, Syngo Dynamics, TomTec, and VascuPro. Familiarity with these specific applications is not required but will be viewed favorably.
Proven ability to successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously in a matrixed environment. Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking proficiencies. - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
- Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.
- Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after 6 months of consecutive employment.
