JIRA & Confluence Migration SME (7-10 yrs Exp)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Atlassian Jira & Confluence SME to configure, migrate data & configuration (on-premises to cloud), and maintain the instance. The SME should be able to interact with the technical owners, collect the business requires, analyze and implement the solution.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain multiple JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, settings, users, permissions, and reports.
• Work with JIRA/Confluence filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration on Cloud instance or Datacenter edition on AWS Cloud.
• Migrate the jira and confluence from on-premises to cloud instance.
• Perform the instance analysis and carry out the data cleanup activities.
• Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
• Improve JIRA security. Set access permissions for JIRA projects and Confluence spaces.
• Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA.
• Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
• In-depth knowledge and experience with day-to-day JIRA administration functionality
• Able to demonstrate experience supporting technical users and conduct requirements analysis.
• Familiar with Agile and Kanban development frameworks and project management
• Ad-Hoc report creation and distribution
• Can work independently with minimal guidance & oversight.

Required Technical Expertise

• 7-10 years' experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Automation, Confluence) 
• Experience with Cloud Instance
• Experience with Atlassian Market place add-ons such as Qmetry Automated Test Suite and Script Runner
• Demonstrated proficiency with scripting and automation (bash, python, other programming languages)
• Experience with Confluence-to-Confluence and Jira-to-Jira migrations
• Experience with configuration of Atlassian Guard for identity management, SSO, and license management

Preferred Technical Experience

• Experience automating manual tasks
• Experience with Agile processes and other tools in the space (ADO)
