Description
Job Summary: Responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Meets all property and industry related health and safety guidelines to support the well-being of guests, team members, and the local community.
Job Duties:
- Participate in pre-shift, and post-shift, meetings.
- Prepare ingredients and prepare menu items according to quality standards.
- Set-up and stock work station with necessary ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and work area, including stations and equipment.
- Handle food orders in a timely and organized manner.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen, and front of house, team members.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, and maintains a professional appearance.
- Clean and close down equipment or station at the end of service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous restaurant service experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate with team members in a professional manner.
- Understanding of food preparation methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
