About The Role
We are building a new affiliate business in the iGaming sector and are looking for a highly skilled SEO Manager to own and execute the SEO strategy. Reporting to the Head of Affiliation, this role will be the backbone of our organic growth, ensuring our affiliate website ranks in competitive markets, attracts qualified traffic, and converts visitors into valuable players for our operator partners.
The SEO Manager must be hands-on and highly technical - from site architecture and crawlability to Core Web Vitals, indexing, and structured data -, with deep expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, and a proven track record in scaling websites in highly competitive verticals while collaborating closely with content, product, and development teams.
Key challenges include competing in a saturated iGaming search landscape, staying ahead of constant Google algorithm updates, managing large-scale migrations, and scaling SEO performance across multi-language, multi-GEO affiliate websites.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy (technical, on-page, off-page, content-driven).
- Conduct keyword research & market analysis to identify growth opportunities in target geos.
- Develop a content strategy aligned with traffic acquisition and conversion goals.

Technical Seo
- Own the technical SEO strategy across all affiliate websites, ensuring best practices for crawlability, indexation, site performance, scalability and speed optimization.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, sitemaps, and internal linking to maximize visibility and crawl efficiency.
- Oversee audits and ensure fixes are implemented promptly.
On-Page & Off-Page Optimization
- Optimize landing pages, reviews, and bonus pages for high-intent keywords.
- Plan and execute link-building campaigns (outreach, PR, partnerships).
- Monitor and improve E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) signals.

Analytics & Performance
- Define SEO KPIs and monitor performance with tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Affiliation and suggest corrective actions.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and stay ahead of Google algorithm updates.
- Monitor competitor activity using tools such as SimilarWeb, Sistrix, SpyFu to inform strategy.

Collaboration
- Work closely with content writers, developers, and designers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in all activities.
- Support paid media and influencer initiatives with insights from SEO data.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead SEO role.
- Industry background: Experience in iGaming, betting, finance, or other highly competitive SEO verticals is strongly preferred.
- Technical expertise:
- Proven track record in site architecture, crawling, indexing, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Advanced use of tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, SurferSEO (or similar).
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Metadata, internal linking, structured content strategies.
- Optimizing content for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
- Outreach, PR-based link acquisition, PBN evaluation, competitor backlink benchmarking.
- Content alignment: Ability to brief and guide writers/designers with keyword-driven strategies.
