Position Overview: The Regional Manager will be responsible for driving growth and ensuring quality within their assigned territory. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels at quality monitoring, coaching, and fostering a team of technicians who are common sense problem solvers and critical thinkers. As a key operational leader, you will collaborate closely with leadership while representing our company values on the ground.

Essential Job Duties:

· Regional Growth & Performance:

o Lead business development initiatives and drive market expansion across an assigned region.

o Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustained regional growth and profitability.

· Quality Monitoring & Compliance:

o Oversee service quality across the region, ensuring strict adherence to our high-quality standards and guidelines for pest control.

o Ensure compliance with all local, state, and industry regulations within the region.

· Team Leadership & Development:

o Mentor and develop service technicians, fostering a culture where common sense problem solving and critical thinking are at the forefront.

o Facilitate regular training sessions and performance reviews to build and maintain a skilled and motivated team.

o Identify and develop high-potential talent within the region to support long-term leadership development and succession planning.

· Operational Strategy & Management:

o Develop and implement regional strategies that align with the company’s overall vision and operational goals.

o Collaborate with leadership and work with support teams to execute strategic initiatives, enhance client service, and optimize overall operational efficiency.

o Perform regular reviews of key locations to assess overall service effectiveness, evaluate technician performance data, and drive appropriate action when standards are not being met.

· Client Relations & Brand Representation:

o Act as the face of the company in your territory, building strong, lasting relationships with residential, multi-housing, commercial, and industrial clients.

o Act as an account manager, communicating directly with clients to address concerns and ensure key accounts are serviced effectively to help drive brand loyalty.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in pest control operations or a similar service-based industry.
  • Proven record of driving growth and leading high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in interpreting data and implementing data-driven improvements.
  • A proactive, hands-on leader with a passion for quality service and operational excellence.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to read, legibly speak, and understand English; must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to clients and Plunkett's employees
  • Utilize application equipment (spray guns and bottles, hoses, etc.), inspection equipment, and small hand tools
  • The ability to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • The ability to pass state licensing exams

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience managing operations on a multi-state level preferred.

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

  • Communicates through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, texts, and email
  • Lift/push/pull 25lbs-50lbs regularly; some routes may occasionally require lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100lbs
  • Extensive bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching overhead, climbing a ladder, working in confined spaces, walking for long periods, and sitting for long periods
  • Utilize application equipment (spray guns and bottles, hoses, etc.), inspection equipment, and small hand tools
  • Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions; indoors and outdoors during seasonal weather, damp locations, and dusty locations
  • Read printed materials and a computer screen.
  • Stamina needed to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
  • Communicates through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, texts and email.
