General Information:
The Department of Psychology, located in Miller Hall, is seeking a student assistant to provide general office support for 10-12 hours per week. Applicants must have availability during regular office hours of M-F 8 am - 5 pm.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- -Assist faculty, staff, and academic unit heads with various projects including copying, scanning, data entry, general clerical duties, and running errands.
- -Greet and help all visitors as they enter the office lobby
- -Assist in maintaining neatness and organization in the office.
- -Proctoring exams as needed
- -Respect the confidentiality of documents being handled in the department
- -Assist with printing posters and depending on qualifications-designing posters and/or other items
- -Securing classrooms and office at the end of the day
- -Assist as needed where needed
Qualifications:
- -Must be Federal Work Study eligible
- -Excellent customer service skills
- -Be polite, dependable, organized, punctual, responsible, and professional
- -Ability to work independently
- -*Average or above computer competency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- -Competency to use Canva or other platforms for digital design
- -Attention to detail and accuracy
- -Ability to work in a slow-paced environment

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
