Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities tailored to seniors’ interests and abilities
• Encourage daily participation in social, physical, and creative activities to promote wellness and community engagement
• Assess residents’ preferences and needs to develop personalized activity programs
• Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere that enhances residents’ quality of life
• Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities align with residents’ health and safety guidelines
• Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity area is inviting and well-organized
• Document participation and provide feedback on residents’ engagement and progress

Skills And Qualifications:

• Proven experience in planning and leading recreational activities, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine love for working with seniors
• Creativity and enthusiasm to develop engaging and diverse activity programs
• Ability to assess residents’ needs and adapt activities accordingly
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for senior engagement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude, patience, and a compassionate approach to senior care
