Quality Staff (Temp. - 1 Year Contract)

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Quality Staff (Temp. - 1 year contract) member at MSD, you will collaborate with the Operations team to perform QC inspections and you will manage various quality data and relevant documents. In this role, you will report to the Local Quality Group Leader.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Product Inspection: Conduct basic inspections of finished products to verify they meet quality criteria before shipment or delivery.
• External Sample Handling & Analysis Support: Manage samples requested by customers or external parties and support related analysis activities.
• SPC Data Management: Assist in collecting and managing analysis data used for Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• CoA Preparation: Help prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for outgoing products and manage related data.
• Documentation & Records Management: Ensure that inspection and test records are properly maintained and organized. Assist with inventory control procedures and keep quality-related documents up to date.
• Supplier Quality Support: Assist in checking raw materials and supplier-provided items to ensure they meet required specifications.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to read and understand English-written test methods and perform chemical experiments accordingly
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods
• Clear communication skills to convey information effectively
• Manual dexterity for handling lab tools and materials at various heights
• Visual acuity to observe documents and perform detailed inspections at close range
• Work is performed in a laboratory setting with standard safety protocols
• Regular use of computers and office equipment
• Commitment to safety when working with mechanical/electrical equipment, high voltage, gas, water, and heat sources
• Typical noise levels for a laboratory environment
