We’re currently looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business performance across a growing national brand. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll, while also contributing to ongoing analysis and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, invoicing, and vendor reconciliations
• Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST and other government filings with accuracy and timeliness
• Set up and map general ledger accounts in line with company structure
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results, identify variances, and provide management with value-added reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational improvements and cost control
• Assist with WCB reporting
• Process payroll as needed
• Use advanced Excel functions to support analysis and reporting
• Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational accuracy in all administrative and accounting functions

What You Bring To The Table

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA designation required
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• In-depth knowledge of Sage 300 is required
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
• Experience in retail, franchising, or multi-location operations is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
