Responsibilities

• Works on the Global Implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool SAP S4 HANA.
• Works in the JIRA system to update data on project progress
• Works using Agile & Waterfall project management tools
• Conducts her/ himself as a regular full-time member of the staff by accepting and adhering to Boston Scientific's rules and regulations and by engaging in professional and personable conduct at all times with staff and customers. The intern is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by the Boston Scientific.
• Becomes knowledgeable about her or his own responsibilities and the business and operational issues inherent in them as well as about the Boston Scientific's management and particular issues relevant to the Company.
• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that support reporting and analytics in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Support integration of data from various sources (e.g., Excel, SQL databases, APIs) into usable datasets.
• Help maintain and improve Power BI dataflows, datasets, and visual models under guidance from senior engineer
• Collaborate with data analysts and team members to understand business needs and deliver clean, well-documented data.
• Learn and apply best practices around data quality, documentation, and governance.
• Monitor existing data solutions for accuracy and performance, and contribute to troubleshooting efforts as needed.
• Work with data from enterprise platforms such as JIRA, qTest, Solution Manager, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, AWS, SharePoint, and PowerApps to support reporting and operational dashboards.
• Use Power Automate to orchestrate data ingestion, streamline workflows, and automate routine data tasks.

Required

• BSc (Hons) degree in relevant discipline essential.
• Must have graduated within the last two years or in final year of University 
• Relevant work experience/ co-op programme completed.
• Eligible to work in Ireland

• Some hands-on experience with Power BI (e.g., coursework, internships, or personal projects), including working with dataflows, DAX, or basic semantic modeling.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and ability to work with structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, CSV).
• General understanding of data governance principles, data lineage, and metadata — with willingness to learn and apply best practices.
• Exposure to or interest in working with enterprise platforms such as JIRA, qTest, Solution Manager, Snowflake, AWS, SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint Lists, and PowerApps.
• Familiarity with Power Automate for orchestrating dataflows or automating repetitive tasks is a plus.
• Strong interest in solving problems with data and an eagerness to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
