Job Description:
Candidate is responsible for Mechanical designs and engineering, integration for UV disinfection system and Ozone systems.
- Design, engineering, sizing and selection of mechanical equipment’s, items & components.
- Structural/Hydraulic design, pipe sizing, contract specification/plan review.
- Experience with project design deliverables such as datasheets, drawings, proposal documents, and Submittal documentation per customer specification and contract requirements.
- Preparation of 2D/3D CAD, manufacturing drawings and essential engineering submittals.
- Mechanical system design and dimensioning of construction parts.
- Development of BOQ, part codes, mechanical specifications, RFQs and project documentation, including as-built.
- Preparation of parts lists and creation of articles in Navision; data management in DB Works and/or Cadison.
- Ensure compliance with international/national mechanical standards.
- Co-ordination for end-to-end project engineering, cross-functional/regional collaboration, and procurement support.
- Identify customer-specific requirements during bidding and project execution.
- Support to sales during inquiries, customer meetings, and technical clarifications.
- Engineering support for mechanical installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
Must Have
- Proficiency in Creo (parametric modelling), AutoCAD (2D/3D).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical system designing, application, and manufacturing.
- Hands-on with mechanical standards (ASME, AD2000).
- Process, Product & integration project knowledge of water/wastewater treatment.
Good To Have
- Knowledge of GD&T, welding, pipe fabrication, Smart Assembly, Windchill (Vault).
- Experience in UV & ozone system is preferred.
- Experience in hydraulic design.
- Influential interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Adaptability to work across time zones.
Software & Tools Proficiency
- 3D Design & CAD: Creo, AutoCAD Mechanical, SolidWorks, Cadison, DB Works, SmartAssembly, Windchill (Vault).
- Project & Data Systems: Navision, P&ID tools.
Language Skills
- Good oral and written English (B2), German (C1 advantage).
Desired Profile of candidate
- Education Min. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable/similar education.
- Experience – 4years and above professional experience in Mechanical engineering and Design. Awareness of UV disinfection and Ozone systems is an added advantage
- Must be conversant with latest technology, updated to latest market.
- Awareness of applicable standards updated with the latest applicable practices.
- Willing to travel (maybe <10%) and support for commissioning at site if required.
- Candidate shall preferably have experience in the water and wastewater industry.
