Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Treasury Management Product Manager to lead our commercial deposit products, which serve as the foundation of our liquidity management portfolio. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of commercial deposit account products that meet client needs, comply with regulatory requirements, and align with the institution's strategic objectives..
The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of treasury and liquidity management, strong technical acumen, and a passion for delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Management
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of treasury management deposit products including core deposit accounts, deposit-linked liquidity tools, and specialty deposit products.
- Core Deposit Accounts: analyzed business checking accounts, commercial interest-bearing checking accounts, money market deposit accounts
- Deposit-Linked Liquidity Tools: ZBAs, target balance accounts, investment and loan sweep accounts, ECR-based accounts, hybrid accounts
- Specialty Deposit Products: Collateralized deposit account (public funds), Fiduciary and trust-related deposit accounts (IOLTAs)
- Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and feature enhancements to align with market trends, regulatory changes, and client needs
- Identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and market competitiveness in liquidity management solutions.
Client-Focused Solutions
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders (sales, relationship managers, and implementation teams) to understand client requirements and pain points.
- Translate client feedback into actionable product features that improve usability and value.
- Ensure products meet the specific needs of various industries, from small businesses to large corporations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support sales efforts and client engagements.
Market Analysis and Insights
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our offerings against market leaders and identify gaps.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting commercial deposits to guide product roadmaps.
- Stay ahead of advancements in digital platforms and fintech innovations.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with technology, operations, and compliance teams to design, implement, and enhance products.
- Work closely with market execution and marketing teams to develop product positioning, promotional materials, and training for sales teams.
Performance Monitoring
- Define and track product performance metrics, including revenue growth/product profitability, adoption rates, and client satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate product effectiveness and propose improvements based on client feedback and performance data.
- Support analysis of pricing, cost of funds, and earnings credit rate strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in treasury management, product management, or financial services, with a focus on liquidity management.
- Foundational knowledge of commercial deposit account structures. Proven track record of developing and managing successful financial products.
Skills:
- Strong familiarity with regulatory requirements for commercial deposit products (e.g., Reg D, Reg E, UDAAP, BSA/AML).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or equivalent.
- Familiarity with payment systems, ERP integrations, and financial technology platforms.
