The Job

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the technical delivery and team leadership for our mobile development team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise in Angular, Capacitor and Ionic frameworks with strong leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers through complex mobile application projects.

What You’Ll Do

Technical Delivery & Architecture

  • Own the technical delivery of projects — from solution design to implementation and deployment
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage build processes with tools like Github actions, optimizing for mobile deployment workflows
  • Leverage modern tooling and observability practices to maintain system reliability and performance across iOS and Android platforms
  • Maintain and implement comprehensive testing methodology including unit testing, integration testing, and mobile-specific testing strategies
  • Identify and research emerging technologies or tools that can improve team efficiency and product quality, and drive their adoption within the mobile development ecosystem

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers through all phases of software development, fostering growth in mobile development best practices
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with developers, supporting their professional growth, performance, and career development
  • Support hiring efforts by participating in candidate evaluation and technical interviews for mobile developers
  • Collaboration & Product Development
  • Facilitate feature-level discussions with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions optimized for mobile platforms
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize the team backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives

What You’Ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading development teams
  • Strong expertise with mobile development, preferably in Angular, Capacitor and Ionic frameworks
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance, particularly for mobile applications
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks and methodologies for mobile applications
  • Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization and observability tools
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
  • Proactive Attitude

  • Focus on delivery and bringing projects to completion
