Principal Purpose Of Job:
The principal purpose of a Visiting Assistant Professor in Manufacturing Engineering Technology is to contribute to the academic mission of the University primarily through teaching and service. While research and professional engagement are encouraged, visiting faculty appointments are non-tenure track, temporary, and focused on high quality teaching and student success.
Scope Of Responsibility:
As a Visiting Assistant Professor in Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Kentucky State University, the individual’s primary scope of responsibility will emphasize teaching and student support. While contributions to research and service are welcome, these are not tenure-track requirements. The following outlines the key areas of responsibility:
Teaching:
- Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in manufacturing engineering technology.
