A Day In The Life
Reporting to the ANZ Category D&SP Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Improve Demand Planning Accuracy (DPA) and reduce bias levels using statistical models and business insights.
- Analyze demand drivers such as customer behavior, competitor activity, and market trends, while collaborating to enhance forecast inputs.
- Contribute to Market Business Strategy (MBS), Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP), and ensure alignment with Annual Volume Commitment (AVC).
- Present forecast gaps and risks to senior management, ensuring plans are realistic and well-communicated.
- Utilize planning systems (e.g., SAP and OMPartners) for effective management and drive process improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize product launches and influence commercial decisions.
- Support Nestlé’s Idea-to-Launch (I2L) process to accelerate innovation execution.
What will make you successful
- 2+ years in demand planning or related commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain)
- Experience in LEAN environments and continuous improvement practices
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, supply chain processes, and business planning frameworks
- Proficiency in SAP, OMPartners or similar planning systems
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
