About Fundraise Up
At Fundraise Up, we are reimagining the fundraising platform to create the most convenient and fastest way to donate to non-profit foundations. Our innovation is aimed at enhancing loading speeds, boosting conversion rates, offering diverse payment methods, and more. Each month, individuals worldwide donate tens of millions of dollars through our platform. We are the go-to fundraising solution for some of the world's leading non-profit organizations. UNICEF, Obama Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, and many others leverage our platform for their online fundraising needs.
About The Role
We are seeking a Global Mobility Manager to own and execute the complex transitions of our global workforce — from contractors to employees — across both direct subsidiaries and Employer-of-Record (EOR) partners. This role is central to our international expansion and employee experience, ensuring that relocations, transitions, and compliance processes run smoothly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end process of converting contractors to employees across multiple jurisdictions (direct hires in Spain & Serbia, EOR arrangements in Portugal, UK, Georgia, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, etc.)
- Coordinate employment type changes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and Fundraise Up’s internal policies
- Support and manage employee relocations between countries, including visa/work permit processes, housing support, and onboarding into new entities/EORs
- Partner with external vendors, EORs, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless employee mobility experiences
- Act as the operational point of contact for our EOR partners, monitoring SLAs, escalating issues, and ensuring accurate payroll, benefits, and compliance delivery
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and tracking systems
- Standardize and continuously improve mobility and transition processes for scalability
- Advise managers and employees on employment structures, relocation processes, and EOR matters
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and IT to align on compliance, cost, and systems impact
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or Global Mobility
- Hands-on experience with EOR models (Remote, Deel, Oyster, etc.) and direct local employment
- Proven track record in employee relocations, work permits, and cross-border HR processes
- Strong understanding of international employment law basics and compliance risks
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, parallel transitions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS/startup environment
- Fluent in English and Russian; other languages are a plus
Benefits
Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits and perks, meaningful equity, and a competitive salary:
- 31 days off
- 100% paid telemedicine plan
- Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace.
