Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of one of our most critical enterprise applications. This individual will act as the bridge between business leadership and engineering execution, ensuring that the product delivers maximum value to the organization. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and a disciplined executor—able to shape the roadmap, manage priorities, and hold engineering and business analysis teams accountable for timely delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for our critical application. Align priorities with organizational goals, business needs, and market trends.
- Backlog Ownership: Develop, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity of requirements and alignment with business value.
- Execution Oversight: Partner with engineering, BA, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features, enhancements, and fixes. Monitor performance and ensure accountability across teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and results. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
- Governance & Accountability: Establish clear metrics for success, drive operational discipline, and ensure regulatory, compliance, and security standards are met.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices, agile methodologies, and feedback loops to evolve both the product and the teams working on it.
- Change Management: Anticipate organizational impacts of product changes and proactively manage communication and adoption across the business.
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent senior role, preferably in healthcare, technology, or other regulated industries.
- Proven track record of driving strategy and execution for mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and engineering processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to guide decision-making.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational rigor and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience
