About The Role:
SPORTSENGINE is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build our next big thing in platform growth.
In this role, you’ll join the Infrastructure Engineering Team and report to the Senior Director of Infrastructure Engineering, helping to migrate the tools and systems that power how we deliver the options to connect to fans around the world.

What You'Ll Do:
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on our team, you will:
- Lead the migration effort for changing external DNS providers.
- Assist with the migration of applications, systems, and services from on-prem datacenters to AWS.
- Oversee the security patching of all systems (Vmware, Windows and Linux)
- Manage and maintain VMware virtualization platforms and enterprise hardware (servers, storage, and networking).
- Expertise in managing PKI and managing certs at scale.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, capacity, and security issues.
- Administer and optimize Okta for single sign-on, MFA, lifecycle management, and integrations with SaaS and on-prem applications.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement and enforce IAM best practices.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automate system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to reduce manual intervention.
- Partner with application, security, and compliance teams to align infrastructure strategy with business needs.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to best practices documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert during audits, compliance reviews, and incident response.
Qualifications
What We'Re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
- Proven track record of migrating enterprise systems from on-prem datacenters to AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and on-prem enterprise servers/storage.
- Expertise in Okta administration and integration with cloud and on-prem systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Bonus Points For:
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code Terraform
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI
- Background in building or maintaining systems that support operational processes
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
