Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role will also assist with compliance, audits, and financial analysis, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of the financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
  • Maintain and improve accounting procedures and controls
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
