Your Opportunity
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving strategic growth and market share in the mid-market segment? Do you have a proven ability to direct a broad functional area and lead multiple teams of managers to consistently exceed performance goals? We are looking for a Senior Director, Mid-Market Sales to provide strategic executive leadership and drive new go-to-market plans for our Mid-Market Sales organization. Our Mid-Market sales team holds a strategic position driving committed new business into the organization. As a Senior Director, you’ll maximize the team’s abilities, be a strong cross functional partner and drive results.
What You'Ll Do
- Passionately lead, drive and deliver the New Relic vision and mission for Mid-Market sales team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed sales goals and revenue targets for the mid-market segment.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive overall business growth
- Create and refine scalable processes to enhance team efficiency and overall performance
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Provide strategic executive leadership for sales forecasting, territory assignments, sales mentorship, and commission planning
This Role Requires
- 15+ years of proven sales experience with 8+ years experience managing a sales team within the observability or complex cloud SaaS sector
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales growth goals of SaaS products, specifically within Mid-Market Accounts.
- Strong customer-focused industry leader
- Strong experience in developing strategic plans and oversees design, development, implementation of programs.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science, or relative degree of study

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the on target earnings (salary plus target sales incentives) for the listed position. This role is eligible for a commission plan (as defined in the sales incentive plan document). Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
