Customer Engagement Content Writer Intern Summer 2026 Internship- Hybrid -Des Moines, Iowa

Wellabe is seeking an intern to join our Actuary team for a10-week paid internship from June 1st through August 7, 2026.  In this collaborative role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on a variety of projects and learning from our team.  You will participate in a well-rounded internship program with the opportunity to gain real world experience that supplements traditional classroom learning. 

Essential Functions

• Assist with Wellabe Rewards website and customer portal refresh
• Assist with Wellabe Rewards engagement and retention strategy
• Assist with Wellabe: Be Well app carousel refresh and management

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Media/Journalism, Professional or Technical Writing, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated creativity, strong time management, excellent grammar and editing skills, effective writing and storytelling abilities, and openness to feedback.
• Experience in copywriting, content creation, or writing-intensive coursework is preferred.  Familiarity with web content and prior relevant work experience is a plus.
