GBS Manila is composed of five (5) main work streams, structured to make processes centralized, standardized, and in leveraged technology with the support of IT group, Continental Business Systems & RPA Competence Center.

It provides end-to-end, front-to-back services; from customer service, order management, purchasing, invoice to payment, credit and collection, full finance activities, data management, and HR services including payroll, employee benefits and talent acquisition; all built to meet its customers needs.

Job Description

  • Validate master data integrity to ensure adherence to processes, completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and proper resolution of issues. ▪ Ensure compliance with internal policies and process control procedures. ▪ Collaborate with operations teams to confirm that quality audit findings are addressed and resolved promptly to avoid operational disruptions. ▪ Maintain and implement internal controls to ensure alignment with corporate compliance standards. ▪ Provide technical support for mass data updates, including data preparation, creation of complex loaders, validation, and upload activities. ▪ Resolve escalated issues and provide assistance to team members as needed. ▪ Support the Team Lead in executing internal compliance tasks and facilitating external audit engagements. ▪ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the immediate Team Lead.▪ Ensure timely execution of bank confirmations in alignment with agreed timelines. ▪ Validate key performance metrics across all master data objects and generate reports as required. ▪ Collect stakeholder feedback and recommend enhancements to KPIs and SLAs to better measure, forecast, and replicate individual team member performance. ▪ Support the Functional Team Lead in developing action plans for failed metrics and monitor progress toward resolution. ▪ Lead root cause analysis discussions with junior team members and present findings to the immediate Lead for further ideation. ▪ Prepare analytical reports to track, assess, and identify improvement opportunities in master data and business support processes. ▪ Provide strategic input to Team Leads for use in engagement meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues, and facilitate engagement or project meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables and processes. ▪ Identify and recommend opportunities for process standardization and improvement that benefit all parties involved. ▪ Lead and manage master data projects in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Communicate and review quality audit findings during regular team huddles, with a focus on resolution, process standardization, and continuous improvement. ▪ Support the immediate Lead in people development initiatives, including training, coaching, and employee engagement activities. ▪ Actively participate in assigned training and skills development programs throughout the year. ▪ Engage in GBS Manila initiatives, such as town halls, training sessions, corporate social responsibility programs, and other activities that promote employee engagement. ▪ Assist the Functional Team Lead in managing daily operations and serve as Officer-in-Charge during the Lead’s absence.
  • Plan, organize, lead, and oversee team activities to ensure objectives are met and services are delivered effectively to customers and stakeholders. ▪ Supervise and guide associates in daily operations within the supported market, ensuring consistency and quality in execution. ▪ Support Global Data Intelligence management systems, including daily huddles, productivity tracking, and issue logging; proactively communicate planned leaves and backup arrangements to stakeholders. ▪ Act as the first level of escalation for potential risks that may impact the team’s deliverables, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
  • Support the implementation of technology-driven process improvements, including tools such as SAP upgrades, SSP7, BMC Helix ticketing system, and WinShuttle. ▪ Identify process inefficiencies and pain points, and propose actionable solutions to address operational challenges. ▪ Present and assist in executing process improvement initiatives, along with any additional tasks assigned by the immediate Lead. ▪ Participate in center-wide initiatives, such as CBS culture programs and Bright Ideas, and contribute to achieving CBS goals as defined by the immediate Lead.
  • Identify, present, and implement solutions for process improvements and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned. Support business teams in data harmonization efforts and other initiatives impacting master data. ▪ Assist in the transition and cleanup activities related to new process migrations, such as inactive vendor/customer reporting and material harmonization. ▪ Collaborate with master data analysts to review and maintain up-to-date process documentation. ▪ Lead the development and updates of master data work instructions and related documentation.▪  Verify and clarify information with responsible stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of data entered into templates. ▪ Create material codes in the GUTS system or coordinate with assigned IT for mass upload options when applicable. ▪ Gather required information and documentation from suppliers and internal stakeholders to support GUTS code creation. ▪ Input collected data into GUTS to create, update, and release materials and supplier locations. ▪ Support the development of material specifications within the GUTS tool. ▪ Assist in data cleanup activities within the GUTS system. ▪ Provide support for GUTS and CRM-related tasks, particularly those tied to the Imp@ct project and other related initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any four year course  with bachelor's degree holder in Finance, Engineering, IT or any other related courses.
  • 5 - 8 years work related experience in master data activities or related processes (e.g., vendor, materials, customer data, etc.). • Advanced knowledge of at least two master data process either vendor, customer, materials, FICO and expert in one of the data objects. • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and databases preferably SAP (MM,PP, SD, FICO modules) • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite; Expert knowledge in using Microsoft Excel
  • At least four (4) + years experience in managing or participated in projects for master data.  • Advanced knowledge in master data migration, data cleansing, and harmonization efforts • Have work with Project teams on process improvements, development of KPI and other quality measures
  • Stakeholder engagement, supervising associates, conducts training/s on subject of expertise • Able to facilitate team meetings to share best practices, lead process improvement initiatives, actively participate/form part of GBS committees (such as events comm., Connect)
  • Experience working in a multinational set up is preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills, understand cultural differences and norms.
