Job Description
We are seeking a Category Specialist to support the delivery of Onshore Renewables projects in the Baltics. You will manage categories such as Finance, Real Estate, Legal, and Human Resources by conducting supply market analysis, engaging with the industry supply chain, and supporting the Ignitis Renewables Finance, Legal, and HR teams. You will help develop and implement regional supply chain strategies, ensuring local content commitments are met and projects are delivered on time. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Establish and co-develop the Consultancy Services category strategy for Legal, Finance, and Manpower services
- Collaborate with suppliers of global Renewables consultancy services and regional Project Managers to ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery of Onshore Wind and Solar projects
- Leverage and manage relationships with key suppliers to enhance commercial outcomes and service delivery
- Reduce total cost of ownership by streamlining processes and decreasing transactional costs
- Lead sourcing activities, including contract negotiations and benchmarking exercises
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Legal, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience in a similar role within an international project environment
- Proven negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills with a track record of delivering business value
- Solid understanding of EU commercial contract management and procurement processes
- Experience in implementing ERP systems and using e-sourcing platforms
