The Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in China and accelerate the growth of our B2B division. This role is a critical driver of our B2B revenue, focused on generating a high volume of new business opportunities and ensuring these opportunities convert into tangible sales results.

Your success will be measured by a combination of the quantity and quality of the sales leads you generate and the ultimate sales value (revenue) of the deals closed from those leads. What You'll Get to Do

  • Proactively identify, research, and engage potential B2B clients and key contacts within target industries.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel lead generation strategy to build a robust sales pipeline, including but not limited to: Strategic Partnerships - Identify, recruit, and manage channel partners and resellers to establish and scale an indirect sales pipeline. Cross-Industry Collaboration - Forge and nurture co-marketing and business development partnerships with complementary organizations to unlock new lead sources. Marketing-Driven Initiatives - Design and launch campaigns aimed at generating high-quality B2B leads. Direct Outbound Prospecting - Proactively identify, research, and engage key contacts within target industries through personalized email campaigns and social media outreach.
  • Nurture leads and build relationships with potential customers and partners, clearly articulating Cambly's value proposition and aligning it with their business needs.
  • Manage the full sales development cycle, from initial prospecting to scheduling qualified meetings and assisting the Sales team in closing deals to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities and lead information in our CRM system.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English (English is the primary working language).
  • 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development with a proven track record of both generating leads and contributing to revenue targets. Experience in SaaS, Human Resources Services, or E-learning is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in being measured by and achieving sales-related quotas/targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data to drive business growth.
  • A "test and learn" mindset with a proven ability to innovate, experiment, and iterate on outreach strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • A high degree of self-motivation, resilience, and a strong capacity for rapid learning.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
