Senior Analyst, Equity

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Equity to join our Investment Research team at RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for covering stocks in the Asia ex-Japan sectors, conducting in-depth research and financial modeling, and generating value-added investment ideas. You will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and portfolio managers to support investment decisions through comprehensive analysis and insightful recommendations.

What you will be doing

• Cover Asian sectors with a primary focus on Asia ex-Japan stocks
• China stock research experience will be preferred
• Provide regular updates and maintain coverage of stocks on the Buy Lists
• Initiate coverage on new stock ideas with detailed analysis
• Undertake deep-dive research, financial modeling, and due diligence on companies and industries
• Write comprehensive research reports to support investment recommendations
• Present investment ideas and insights to the CIO and portfolio managers
• Contribute to regular idea generation and stock picks for the investment team
• What we're looking for
• At least 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related field
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate about capital markets and investment research
• Deep interest in Asia ex-Japan equities and sectoral trends
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
