We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician to support the equipment located at primary Daniels Health site, as well as support assigned regional locations. The candidate will be required to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels robotic washlines, autoclaves, Boilers and various other facility equipment to support the site operations. The candidate shall have a strong background in maintenance of production equipment, boilers, autoclaves and knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center.

What You Will Do?
- Daily maintenance of equipment using a CMMS software
- Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
- Communicating with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and support
- Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to timeline and budget
- Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
- Communicating with Operations Manager to arrange downtime to conduct maintenance activities
- Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed.
- Maintain each equipment inventory up to date
Requirements
- Must have: min Class 5 Power Engineer or higher Class 3, Class 4 Power Engineer
- DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (preferred)
- Able to travel to other Daniels facilities in Canada and/or the US to support equipment mechanical projects/emergencies (valid Canadian Passport Required)
- Knowledge of MaintainX software (asset)
- Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment
- Welding, experience with basic repair work
- Electrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions
- PLC, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines
- Welcome to new graduate
