Job Description
Your Contribution To Something Big:
As part of the Center of Engineering development team, you will be part of a team responsible for mechanical product development solutions.
Support developing team and serial support on design and cost optimization based on inputs from production, quality department and other departments.
You will be part of a cross-functional team, within an international set-up based in. You will support the development of the new mechanical solutions.
For that you will have the opportunity to apply and develop:
- Understand Requirement Engineering, develop from that best technical solutions;
- Mechanical Design Engineer to be apart of a cross-site team;
- As part your role you will be required to support on the development and design existing solutions, make calculations and release engineering deliverables, such as:
- Design technical solutions, generating 3D CAD Models, including assemblies;
- Tolerance Analysis (2D, 3D, Statistical);
- Generate technical reports to support studies and tests done;
- Cost comparison studies;
- Tolerance Analysis (2D, 3D, Statistical);
- Create component specifications:
- Support samples order and build to validate the solutions;
- Create and follow ECR – Engineering Change Request orders.
- MOS (Material Order Specification);
- Specify materials for components;
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) taking into account manufacturing processes;
- Create the BOM (Bill of Material) for all assemblies;
Qualifications
What Distinguishes You:
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge in specification of new components, material selection, tolerance chain calculation;
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods;
- Knowledge with software CAD 3D, proficiency in Siemens Unigraphics is a plus;
- Knowledge with PLM software – proficiency in Siemens PLM Software (Teamcenter) is a plus;
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote);
- Knowledge with Product Engineering tools, product design reviews, FMEA, Risk Management and DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode);
- Knowledge with simulation software, proficiency in ANSYS, Siemens NX Nastran is a plus;

- Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
- Problem solving & critical thinking mindset, results oriented and pro-active attitude;
- Good communication skills and capable to work in a team environment;
- Excellent organizational attitude and effective presentations skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Able to carry out task in accordance to targets/goals settings.
