  • Job Title: EBC Sales Migration Engineer
  • Department: Enterprise Sales - COMS
  • Reports To: VP, Enterprise Sales
  • Location: Remote / Hybrid

Role Overview:

The EBC Sales Migration Engineer is a highly cross-functional technical resource responsible for supporting the full customer lifecycle from sales engagement and RFP support to partner integrations and back office onboarding continuity. This role combines hands-on technical validation with strategic alignment across Sales, Product, Onboarding, and external CX partners.

A core strength required for success in this role is the ability to make the complex simple. Whether through clean diagrams, clear documentation, or straightforward customer explanations, the Sales Migration Engineer must break down intricate technical topics into digestible narratives that support action, build confidence, and drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. RFP & Security Questionnaire Support

  • Serve as a technical SME for customer-facing RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear, customer-aligned responses.
  • Collaborate with Product, Onboarding, Security, and Legal to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Maintain a reusable knowledge base of responses to accelerate future submissions.

2. CX Partner Integration Ownership

  • Lead technical discovery, documentation, and scoping for integrations with CX (UCaaS/CCaaS) partners.
  • Align integration requirements with internal engineering and product roadmaps.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for partner-side engineering teams.
  • Create visual workflows and reference architectures that simplify integration understanding for all stakeholders.

3. Sales-to-Onboarding Technical Continuity

  • Ensure seamless knowledge transfer and alignment between pre-sales activities and customer onboarding.
  • Validate edge-case requirements and ensure delivery teams are set up for success.
  • Remain engaged through onboarding kickoff to reinforce solution integrity and mitigate surprises.
  • 4. Customer-Facing Technical Engagement
  • Participate in key customer meetings as a technical representative or backup when dedicated resources are unavailable.
  • Provide clarity and confidence during complex or strategic discussions.
  • Simplify technical architectures and integration strategies for business and technical stakeholders alike.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect role.
  • Strong understanding of telecom, UCaaS/CCaaS, enterprise voice, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear diagrams, workflows, and integration summaries.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and detailed technical questionnaires.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and business audiences.
  • For this role, we anticipate paying $125 to $135K. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.   • Familiarity with partner ecosystems, APIs, and cross-platform integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting sales teams in a high-velocity or partner-driven environment.
  • Exposure to onboarding tools, quote-to-cash systems, and CRMs like Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
