The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test Planning and Integration Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
This critical role will analyze and review test work statements, develop cost estimates for program test campaign, and consider factors like materials, facilities, labor, and equipment to ensure competitive and technically sound proposals. Experience with Earned Value Management or Cost Account Management for both commercial and defense engineering work statements is required.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Senior and Lead level Test Planning and Integration Engineers.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze and review test work statements, develop cost estimates for program test campaigns, considering factors like materials, facilities, labor, and equipment to ensure competitive and technically sound proposals
- Collaborate with test capability, subject matter experts and external functions to analyze program test requirements and translate technical information into proposal estimate
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and presentations to internal and external executive stakeholders ensuring supporting documentation, outlining potential cost factors, and conducting risk analysis
- Maintain a database of historical costs and estimates to improve future accuracy continuously improving proposal processes
- Guide test program work statement, commitments, and performance including scope, cost, schedules, implementation of the test and evaluation requirements and their design solutions during all phases of the test program and BT&Es overall performance to plan
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Experience with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, test design, test documentation/reporting and test execution
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 5: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Summary pay range for experienced level: $102,000 – $138,000
- Summary pay range for senior level: $121,550 – $164,450
- Summary pay range for lead level: $145,350 – $196,650
