Raytheon is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technical Publications, to support the Manufacturing Engineering department in McKinney, TX. The Manufacturing Engineering department controls and improves manufacturing processes, including composite layup, mechanical and electrical assembly, and structural bonding. As the Technical Publications Senior Analyst, you will help create, update, and edit assembly instructions and routers for production, depot, and development programs, and you will manage the approval and publication process. You will also maintain websites and control access to them. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers, production personnel, operations and program management, and quality engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Create and release process documentation, including assembly instructions and routers.
  • Review drawings for changes that need to be transferred to assembly instructions.
  • Update and administer websites.
  • Assist the production floor with documentation access issues.
  • Interface with various functions including quality, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

What You Will Learn

  • The products we build and the assembly processes and equipment used to build them.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experience in technical writing and a mastery of written English.
  • Experience with website maintenance and updating
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with factory personnel, managers, and engineers.
  • Experience with Common Manufacturing Enterprise System (CMES) factory operating system.
  • Sap (Prism) Experience.

  • Proficiency in CSS and html and/or DreamWeaver.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
