Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist, Contracts, reporting to the Director, Global Contracts Offset Agreements. This team within Global Contracts works across Raytheon to provide regional and policy-related offset expertise, serves as interface to offset customers and industry organizations, develops, negotiates, and manages offset agreements, collaborates in the identification and development of offset projects and fulfillment approaches, and supports the use of offsets to create international competitive advantages for Raytheon.
What You Will Do
- Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies
- Partner with Global Contract peers, Raytheon’s Global Industrialization team, and other offset stakeholders to draft and negotiate project proposals and agreements
- Develop subject matter expertise and become an internal advisor to the business on offset
- Investigate, research, and proactively disseminate up-to-date knowledge and analysis of country-specific offset requirements, policies, guidelines, historical data, and offset practices
- Maintain database records for offset activities, present offset status to internal and external customers, and provide data and analysis to support internal offset operations reporting for Raytheon
- Meet and represent Raytheon with high level foreign ranking officials and/or customers and suppliers
- Expected to travel (domestical and/or international) occasionally (less than 10%)
- Facilitate cross-business offset initiatives. As needed, negotiate with potential third-party partners and support development of multi-party offset ventures or offset services arrangements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Experience in administration and negotiations supporting one or more of the following: contracts, procurement, supply chain, acquisitions or pricing/finance

- Ability to think strategically and identify, mitigate and resolve issues as they arise by applying business acumen with financial understanding and ability to understand the material aspects of contracts and risk quantification
- Strong customer relations skills, cultural awareness and sensitivity, the ability to work and adapt to various cultures, and work in multi-culture environments
- Understanding of contract & financial structures, pricing strategies, policy & procedure, and compliance principles
- Display an advanced understanding of business relationships and contract structures, while demonstrating an exemplary level of business acumen

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
